Comment on Meaningful Product Processes with IMPACT by Avinash Katta https://www.productplan.com/processes-with-impact/#comment-172510 Sun, 04 Jul 2021 09:17:11 +0000 https://productplanmarketingstaging.local/blog//#comment-172510 I got access to a product as a beta tester. I am a marketer myself and not a programmer.

I generally test products as an end user but since I am beta testing now, I was searching for what the responsibilities are of a beta tester and landed on product plan.

I now started learning how product management works.

Thanks for this article. It was helpful in understanding good processes.

Comment on How to Choose a Great SaaS Pricing Model by Jim Semick https://www.productplan.com/pricing-model-saas-product/#comment-169712 Mon, 03 May 2021 19:03:54 +0000 http://productplanmarketingstaging.local/?p=1746#comment-169712 In reply to Eduardo Benchoam.

Thanks Eduardo – the fact that he’s trying so hard is a good sign there’s value! If there is a free trial involved you can limit this to one time per account, even though the email address may change. Perhaps over time you can build features into the product that make it so that there is some kind of longer term value for staying on the same email address (e.g. email reports, notifications, etc.). My general approach is to not focus on people who are taking advantage of a system and instead provide value for the whole user base. A lot less frustration that way!

Charging per seat and have a customer that asks to change emails every month to get the most out of his license. How would you recommend I handle fair usage? Thanks

I have landed in this situation many times where framework keeps our mind occupied. We think of framework / checklist more than the real work.
